Spirituality in Dance Tele-Interview Series
Lisa interviewed the co-founder of InterPlay Cynthia Winton-Henry. She is the author of three books on movement. They explored Cynthia’s life-long journey with dance and spirituality and she discussed her books Chasing the Dance of Life: A Faith Journey, Dance: A Sacred Art: The Joy of Movement as Spiritual Practice, and What the Body Wants: InterPlay. I really enjoyed the interview! It gave a wonderful summary of the breadth and the depth of InterPlay. I loved the stories you shared of your history and experiences. Another great resource!
I guess you wouldn’t dance if you could put it all into words, but I thought you were coming awfully close. I . Was I projecting or did the interviewer seem increasingly impressed by you? Also, I loved the way you responded to the last question by reaching out to those listeners who are struggling. The message I heard was: “you are not alone and even a few moments of movement can make a difference.”
Dear Donna. Thanks for listening in, friend!
