If you believe you are signed up for the big mother of all cosmic directives- COURAGE TO LOVE you must learn to dance with life. Jesus sang at his last community meal, “Who does not dance, does not know what comes to pass.”
The dance of love is a dance of peacemaking. In a world where military and technological prowess increase, where most of us get colonized by industrial, production oriented beliefs and behaviors, our lives require a corresponding physicality that reflects greater spiritual intelligence. This is key if we are going to prevent further devastating harm.
Are you a young leader, a seasoned follower of Martin Luther King, the Dalai Lama, Thich Nhat Han, Mary, Jesus, or the 13 Grandmothers? They all ask us to be humble and to step into our beautiful ensouled nature. Dancing is not just respite, or a source of energy, it is a hidden wisdom path of many of the great teachers.
Is it time to be on that path? Find your practice.
If you don’t have a local place, come practice with me each Monday at 5pm pst. Just sign up each month at a time at a nominal rate.
And January 12 and 19 I welcome you to try it out for free. Email me at email@example.com to get the link.
